The 6:28.5 uphill mile was 94% of max HR, after 10.8 miles for the day (not a lot, but still pushing it).  After the downhill mile (95% of max HR), I told Aaron I was done pushing that hard, so we slowed down.

17.6 2:11:28 168/177 Canyon - Mile Marker 469.  After taking Thursday off (since we were driving all day and night) as well as Friday (since we got home around 8:30 am) and coming back to a normal altitude (4500 instead of 0-50) 17.6 seemed like a good challenge.
