Ran to the track, took off the shoes and developed a love for blisters!

The blisters aren't that big of a deal, a little tender, but I should have plenty of time to heal before the marathon Saturday.

I'm just curious about why the goals for running bare foot.

I guess that it is partially for entertainment, another challenge, and to prove something. I've wondered why some people are built to run and others are not, but ultimately decided that it's got to be the shoes...Now that I've run barefoot a few times, and go for walks barefoot, the ground seems a little more intriguing, my calves have more definition, and shoes seem expensive!
