It's getting a little worse - but running loosens things up a bit. Normally I would just take the week off, but after running 6 days a week for 3 months, I realize that I can run easy and short (8 seems so short these days) and it won't hurt me.
Good luck in Layton! Are you going to do any 5k specific training in the next 2 weeks? Or are you just assuming that you have the speed (as you surely do) and leg strength to beat your target?

i am not planning on any 5k specific training at this point. i am just trying to keep the miles and fitness up until then. as a guess, i would say i was in shape to run a 17:55 5k just before TOU, but i will never know. i am just hoping i can hang on to that fitness for the next two weeks. i have been feeling really great since the race, except for today. today i crashed and burned -- hard. it was so bad i haven't even blogged about it yet :)
feel better.

I hope you make it. I had been wondering why you've been commenting, but not posting. Hopefully you get over it... Suerte!

Isn't that funny how running looses all the darn mucus up??
Take care, and do not call such hard workouts easy! ;o)
