For me, basketball and running are like oil and vinegar, they just don't mix. A game of basketball is a guaranteed sprained ankle for me! But the lateral motion is actually probably good for your feet. I am thinking of starting to play some racquetball again to do the same.

Kelli - I haven't, I think I had some sort of deep bruise in the pad of my left foot. I did run in VFFs and didn't really notice much, so I plan on running part of my run Thursday barefoot. How's the PF?

That's too bad - sometimes it seems like taking time off is harder than training harder!
I plan on doing the TOU half at the end of August in the VFFs. Depending on how that goes, I may do the TOU marathon in them in the 3 weeks later.
