20.05 2:25:01 160/174 TOU Half Start - TOU finish and home. Plan - 18 miles at MP+10% (7:21?).  Actual - 13.6 miles at 7:16 average, then a small progression of 5 miles at 6:55 followed by 1.44 miles around 7:22 .  Nice canyon wind coming out of Blacksmith Fork Canyon.  Sun came out at TOU 24.1.  Very nice run.  I sort of felt like I was running out of energy about the same time the sun come out (though it had nothing to do with the sun) but pushed through and felt good shortly thereafter.  I saw Scott Ensign just as I rounded the corner to the TOU finish and passed him as he stopped for a drink at the TOU finish area.  Talked to him a bit after - he caught me when I finished running at my home.  He's fast - I don't think I'll be seeing very much of him at the marathon!

Nice run, and such a beautiful morning. Is the course already marked? I'm pulling for you to BQ!

I thought that might have been you at central park but it didn't register until I saw you again on canyon road. Now I am trying to figure out how you could have been coming back as I was going out since you must have been going out from central park... so I can only conclude you were moving WAY faster than me!

Laputka - Mornings are the bet! Thanks - we'll see what happens!

Scott - When I go to my house, I slowed down, then turned back around about 150 yards up the street and walked back. I probably gained most of the distance when you stopped for a drink!
