always good to take a recovery day every now and then. plus, basketball is rough! great cross-training. i played soccer awhile ago and the next day i swear i was more sore than after a marathon! :0

Yeah, I guess that a marathon is what we train for so our bodies can handle the impacts from them a little better? Basketball (and soccer too) has quite a bit of zero to full speed and back to zero sorts of impacts.
