good mileage this week so far. was the fitness test successful?

From Jason McK on Wed, Aug 25, 2010 at 16:22:25 from 63.255.173.99

I think so - last week, 5 miles at an HR of 151,152,152,151,151 took 38:06.6. This week, 5 miles (throwing out mile 4) were 150,151,151,150,151 (about 1 bpm less) took 37:49. Really, I should compare it to June 30th (4 miles in 32:35.8 at 151 in lane 1) when I started running these tests. I'm trying to gage whether or not training at a slow pace is making me stronger or not.
